Vertical View Climbing Gym to co-host 2023 Yeti Climbing National Championships in Idaho

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a recent news release, Vertical View Climbing Gym announced it will host the 2023 Yeti Climbing National Championships. This event will bring America's best competition climbers, including Olympic and National Team members, to pursue their dream of earning a spot on Team USA in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

"Given the size of this championship event, the three disciples will be divided amongst two host facilities to offer the world-class competitors the very best that Idaho has to offer," announced USAC officials. Vertical View will host the lead and speed disciplines Oct. 11-13, with Asana Climbing Gym hosting the bouldering portion of the championship Oct. 14 and 15.

Yeti Elite Nationals will replace the previously scheduled North American Cup event.

"Welcoming the very best USA competition climbers to Idaho is a dream come true for us here at Vertical View!" said Programs Director Kevin Bradford.
