Leaders in Learning: Volunteer to help with the Idaho First Robotics competition season

If you love Robotics and STEM, and want to help our local First Idaho Robotics League, listen up!

This competition season, Idaho First Robotics League needs volunteers over the next couple of weeks to help coordinate and judge both regional and state competitions!

According to the FIRST Idaho Robotics League, FIRST Robotics League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-17 through fun, exciting hands-on learning!

Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together!

Three age three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

The competitions taking place across the Treasure Valley: The FTC State Championship at Lowell Scott Middle School is in Boise on February 17th from 7am-6pm and the FRC Idaho Regional Competition at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on March 21-24th 2024 from 7:20am-7:00pm.

If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact First Idaho Robotics Executive Director Lisa Lalliss-Skogsberg at (208)870-6873 or email at llallisskogsberg@firstinspires.org
